Bomb Squad to Compete on Dance Five

Articles

East Los High dance fans cheered out of control today as Freddie Lambert, host of Dance Five scouted our campus. The crowd was so rowdy, Freddie could barely make it to the amphitheater where he officially challenged the Bomb Squad to compete on Dance Five.

But the question remains which Bomb Squad dancers will represent East Los???

Freddie will be returning next week for the try outs when he’ll decide which lucky Bomb Squad dancers will perform on Dance Five before a live, national audience.

Ceci Camayo commented on next week’s big try outs, “The competition’s gonna be real tough. Me and Vanessa are for sure gonna make it so that only leaves room for three others.” Bombshell Shelley Acosta responded, “You know I’m gonna bring it, #$ %@^&!”

So how does a dance team get an invitation to compete on Dance Five? Well, in this case, Bomb Squad captain Vanessa de la Cruz applied to Dance Five for a chance to compete on the show. In order to apply she had to send in a video of the Bomb Squad and an essay saying why your school needs the money. “I just told them that we needed money for new uniforms. They know how important it is for us to look like champions.” When asked which dance routine she video taped for submission, Vanessa responded, “It didn’t matter which one I picked, I got connections that made it happen.”
