High school is a time of many firsts. First love, first kiss, etc. This week the Siren staff went around campus and talked to students about their FIRST “Romantic” GIFT.

What was the first gift you ever received from a boyfriend or girlfriend?

My first flowers were from my b.f.. I was happy because it was the first time anyone had ever given me flowers. :-))

Well, I was in the 7th grade and it was February 14, Valentine’s day. I remember it was one of those cold and gloomy rainy days. I was just arriving to school on the bus. I remember seeing him there holding a bouquet of red roses. I got off the bus and he approached me and gave me the flowers! It was a shocking moment for me. I was shy but mostly flattered. I just gave him a big hug. It was a beautiful moment that I never want to forget. Awwww, <3.

The first gift I ever got from a guy was a teddy bear and I was happy and surprised because I didn’t expect it. We were going to hang out and he came with a bag. I asked him what it was and he said it was for me! ;->

My ex-boyfriend gave me a wooden heart with our names engraved in it : ), when we barely had been going together for a month. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. It made me feel really happy and special about it. I slept with it everyday : ) (with his football sweater and his Packer Bear and his socks). Awwww, good times : ).

When I had my first love card it was when I was in 10th grade. I had gotten some before but they didn’t matter as much. One day she just came to me and told me she had something for me and I was surprise and thinking what it was. And she brings me a piece of paper and gives it to me. I was like, can I read it? And she was like, no, not here. I was like, why? And she’s like, I don’t know. But, when I got on the bus, I read it right away and it said so many cute things I had never been told before and I’m not gonna tell you ‘cause they were private. ;-x :-*

What about you?
